Does it work with wet stools?

Good Question. This is Alec, the inventor of the GoGo Stik tools. The very best answer is for you to see a short video on youtube. Here’s one, “FAQ – How do you Scoop up a soft mess in grass. Put your GoGo Stik to work – Day 2”. This is an actual short video I took in my yard. My retriever was not feeling too well for a number of days. The yard of course still needs to be cleaned up. Would this work well for a german shepard? if so, what size should i get?

Yes,it would work good with a German Shepherd I have a 90 pound lab. I have the standard green bags and come 100 in a box. I can get about 2 to 3 piles in one bag. Another good question would be, “will the scooper be used when walking your dog or just for yard cleanup?” If using the GoGo Stik scooper on walks, the ST is most likely the best choice. That’s what I would use and what most folks prefer. Why, because the ST has a collapse-able handle and allows for easier portability. It is very light and sturdy too. The XP is slightly larger with a single non-collapse-able handle. It is great for yard cleanups. I actually use GoGo Stiks daily with my large 100 lb golden retriever. I bought a bulk order of Arm & Hammer bags that measure 9x13 when flat. Will these fit?

Typically yes. But to answer this correctly, it would help to know whether these bags have handles or not. With a short bag, you’ll be able to cover the leading edge of the shovel that will be doing the scooping. You won’t totally cover the front of the shovel blade. That’s okay but remember that the bag is what keeps the tool totally clean. Make sure that you drape the bag around both side arms too. They help in keeping the bag onto the tool. If you have handles you might be able to stuff them into the bottom orange gripper. Experiment to see if the lower or upper gripper works best for you. If the bags have no handles, stuff the upper top of the bag closest to you into the top orange gripper. These HEAVY Dootie Bags are a game changer! These bags are super strong and leakproof, making clean up quick and hassle free. The added hint of citrus scent is nice to keep everything smelling fresh. These orange bags with a cute name are sturdy and have a very important feature: handles! This makes tying the bag and carrying it away from my body an easy task. Each bag pulls out from the box individually so there’s no tearing hassle. There is the slightest citrusy scent but it’s fairly light. The bags are strong and can hold a day’s worth of cat waste with ease, no rips! I recommend these.

First off, I didn’t realize these bags would be so BIG! They are 15″x11″ – almost the size of a grocery bag. One hundred bags come in a recyclable box with a perforated printed paw print on the back so you can pull them out. Not 100% sure if they are biodegradable but they are made with cornstarch and use water-based ink. As for the citrus scent, it’s very minimal. As these bags are bigger than usual doggie poop bags, other uses for these bags could be for litter boxes and trash cans.

I really like the design and thickness of these bags, with the handles being a plus. Unfortunately, my bags did not have a mild citrus smell, for which I docked a star. But for their purpose of picking up pet waste, these are very good bags. I will be ordering these again with hopes I actually receive bags with a citrus scent, as described.

These are actually the XL size I was looking for. I’ve bought some that are actually the small size used when one takes their pet on a walk. One wasn’t even big ⁸enough for even that job! These smell nice, a mellow citrus and not overpowering. I have 3 cats to clean up after, so I double bag them just in case the bag meets with something on the way out to the garbage can in the garage and does leak it’s dirty smelly contents every where you walk or emptying the contents on ones clean floors. Yuck! . Plus our garbage co. “suggests” they be dbl bagged. (I’ve had it happen before & it’s not fun, trust me! This brand of bags have so far never leaked or broken open. It the ones I usually buy aren’t average, I would definitely purchase this brand again. Pleasantly pleased with this purchase.

These are probably the some of the best poop bags I’ve used for my dogs. The material is thick and it feels really sturdy when I carry it around. This is great for my daily walks because it smells like citrus and is easy to tie up. I like how the bag isn’t transparent like other bags I’ve used because nobody wants to see the poo through the bag.

I am going to echo the sentiment of others here and say just how surprised I am at how big these bags are. When I think poop bag, I think small sized bags that fit over your hand. These are much larger and are the right size for lining your small bathroom trash bin. It’s kind of a waste to think of using these for a single poop. Maybe a horse sized poop or a week of cat litter. They are sufficiently thick for handling doodie and are just as thick as a standard grocery bag. They are made of cornstarch and printed with water based ink, so I don’t have any guilt lining my trash bin with these. I always prefer an eco friendly product such as this over plastic counterparts. They dispense out of a large kraft box, so they’re not the most portable, but you can always grab a few and take with you if you need to. These bags don’t really smell like citrus to me and have more of a light floral like scent.
