  1. Admin –

    Great
Works very well. Needs bags with handles. Instead of their expensive bags! I would use a plastic grocery bag

  2. suZ –

It is super easy to use, and makes it safe for the night time walks. You already have to pick up after your puppy, why not add the safety of a rechargeable light so you can see where it go, plus make yourself seen at night. Great product

  3. MaryMary –

GoGo Stik Genie Rechargeable Led Flashlights and mounting Clip for Your Night use is a great addition to my GoGo Stick

  4. Grandi –

This was a great purchase! I clipped this flashlight to the gogo stick dog waste scooper and now i can FIND the waste on after-dark trips to the backyard. One charge lasts a long time and it recharged quickly. And there are 2, so if I lose or break one, I’m still good.
UPDATE: Power was out after a storm, I used one of these lights that had been in a drawer for a couple months as a night light in the bathroom and it lasted the entire night. So thankful for this tiny and high quality flashlight.

  5. C. J. Mojica –

Great when there is poor lighting and you don’t to guess where it is.

  6. Ron Dyson –

This handy light shows me where Fido is about to poop! Also it is a safety factor when walking at night, I leave it on drivers can see me!

  7. Jeff –

We have gotten our guys so used to the go go that we can put it under them when they go so that the poo goes right into the bag.

  8. Joshua –

Accidentally came by this after using my phone at night since I got my Stik last month. Such a great addition to a must have!

Didn’t realize until I went to write this that the Stik has a specific spot to mount it. Was just putting it above the spot and found it annoying that it was loose. Feel stupid now! Lol

  9. Claude Bykatz –

Read the reviews and decided to go for it! I am tired of bending down and cleaning up my dog’s poop piles multiple times a day! This is the BEST scooper! I love the fact that the scooper itself never gets any poop on it. The poop bags cover it all. You even use the poop bags on the ‘rake’ part of the scooper, and I have even used wal-mart grocery bags on the rake part – and it works just fine. I do not have to bend over to pick up the poop anymore. It’s quick and easy. I wish they had a metal scooper besides just the plastic one. BUT, it should last for several years unless I decide to use the scooper to play hockey with frozen poo!

  10. Jenwen –

I have 4 dogs. One is an English Mastiff. OHMAGERD the poop. I also have a bad back and a real dislike of getting my hands dirty. At all. This scooper is my dream scooper. You get a tie bag (any tie bag), wrap it around the clean clean scooper, tuck it in, wrap another bag around the rake. Now, go scoop until the bag is full. Put the bag up where you can reach it. (It’s all the clean side, so no worries.) Then unrap the handles, tie the bag and dump it. Easy-peasy. It’s quite sturdy. It’s easy to use. It can accommodate those giant breed turds. 5 Gold Stars and a Wingy Dingy.

  11. Amazon Customer –

I was a little hesitant to buy this after reading the replies about the bag coming off, but I decided to give it a try. After receiving it, I followed the supplied directions to load on a bag, and it worked perfectly. The bag did not come off at all while cleaning up my yard, filling up one of the bags to full. I also recommend getting the EZ weddge with it, as it makes it much easier to clean up. I was not a fan of my old rake scooper because the rake would hurt the grass in my yard, and the wedge doesnt scrape the grass, it just wedges the waste into the scooper. Works like a charm!

FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How does the no-touch pooper scooper work? A disposable bag mounts onto the scooper and becomes the scooping surface, so the tool never touches the waste. You scoop, tie the bag, and drop it in the bin. Your hands and the tool both stay clean. Q2: Which bags fit the GoGo Stik? It fits our very-large, leakproof Dootie Bags best, and a starter supply is included. It will also hold most standard plastic bags with or without handles if you run out. Q3: Is it strong enough for a large dog? Yes. Paired with very-large Heavy Dootie Bags, it handles big and giant breeds like Labs, Shepherds, and Great Danes in a single pass, with no tearing. Q4: Does it work with wet or soft stool? Yes. The bag conforms to the ground, so it manages soft and wet messes far better than a rigid jaw or tray scooper. For loose stool on walks, try the Catch-N-Go. Q5: Is it a good choice for a bad back or arthritis? Very much so. The long 37-inch handle lets you clean up standing fully upright, with no bending and no hard squeezing, which is gentle on backs, knees, and hands. Q6: How do I clean and store it? Because the bag does the work, an occasional rinse is usually all it needs. Store it hanging, out of direct sun, and it will last for years. Q7: What warranty is included? Every GoGo Stik is backed by a 5-year warranty. If anything goes wrong, contact us and we will make it right. Q8: Do you ship, and can I return it? We ship across the USA and orders qualify for free shipping over the site threshold. If a product is not right for you, see our returns and refund policy or contact our team.

I’ve used all kinds of bags, big and smaller ones without ties and bags with tie handles. I haven’t found any that didn’t work. I got this due to having back surgery and had a no bending restriction but I will continue to use this after as it is just so much neater.

Good Question. This is Alec, the inventor of the GoGo Stik tools. The very best answer is for you to see a short video on youtube. Here’s one, “FAQ – How do you Scoop up a soft mess in grass. Put your GoGo Stik to work – Day 2”. This is an actual short video I took in my yard. My retriever was not feeling too well for a number of days. The yard of course still needs to be cleaned up. Take a look and see what you think. You may be moderately surprised. Don’t forget, the scooper’s blade can be used as a scraper too. Hope this helps. Feel free to contact me.

Pretty much any kind of bag works so I don’t see why a biodegradable bag wouldn’t. My preference is for ones with handle ties but others work too.

Yes,it would work good with a German Shepherd I have a 90 pound lab. I have the standard green bags and come 100 in a box. I can get about 2 to 3 piles in one bag.

Great Question.
Another good question would be, “will the scooper be used when walking your dog or just for yard cleanup?” If using the GoGo Stik scooper on walks, the ST is most likely the best choice. That’s what I would use and what most folks prefer. Why, because the ST has a collapse-able handle and allows for easier portability. It is very light and sturdy too. The XP is slightly larger with a single non-collapse-able handle. It is great for yard cleanups. I actually use GoGo Stiks daily with my large 100 lb golden retriever.
Please contact me directly at any time if I can provide further clarification on this topic or any other regarding the GoGo Stik pooper scoopers.

Typically yes. But to answer this correctly, it would help to know whether these bags have handles or not.

With a short bag, you’ll be able to cover the leading edge of the shovel that will be doing the scooping. You won’t totally cover the front of the shovel blade. That’s okay but remember that the bag is what keeps the tool totally clean. Make sure that you drape the bag around both side arms too. They help in keeping the bag onto the tool.
If you have handles you might be able to stuff them into the bottom orange gripper. Experiment to see if the lower or upper gripper works best for you.
If the bags have no handles, stuff the upper top of the bag closest to you into the top orange gripper.

I have used all kinds of bags except the ones that the newspaper comes in. As long as they have a wide mouth opening, they should work.

Yes! You can even use plastic shopping bags!!!
By Gojira55 on October 17, 2017
this seems to work best with bags that have handles. if your bags do, then that size seems fine.
they probably will but may be snug. sorry but I’m bot sure.

Best pooper scooper I've owned The designer nailed it with the Go Go Stik. I'm disabled and have a hard time cleaning up after my service dog. I had one of those double claw scoopers, which worked--but it was always filthy. I took a risk on this one and it paid off. First, the handle is solid plastic/fiberglass--really strong and substantial. Second, then scooper end that holds the bags really works. If you install the bag properly, the tool itself is protected from the mess--it stays clean! Third, use the big bags made for it! They send some with it and I ordered another box--I have a 55# standard poodle and those bags are big enough for an ENTIRE week of poo clean-up. Because I go through one bag per week, the cost of the bags is really low--and they fit well. I use the criss/cross method to secure the bags. Practice a few times loading a bag until you get it right, it isn't hard but it is easy to get a bag on wrongly and that leaves you with much less poo capacity. I own two of these now!

Momentum driven lift leisure scooper. All in one first shot. Quick assembled pooper scooper. Minimal packaging shows all items ready to go. Instructions clearly outlined on the casing show you how to utilize this pooper scooper line it up lift, and scoop job done. Reducing the need to bend down and pick up dog waste this scooper remains to be seen. It’s forwarding motion should effectively lift dog waste, cleanly, and clearly into the bag minimizing any contact however, if dealing with long grass or other grasses that are thick, this process may not work well. This ultimately means you may have to get your hands dirty, and pick it up manually. For now it’s a wait-and-see moment. Tried once with moderate success.

This thing works great! Don’t usually write reviews, but this scooper is so well thought out and works better than expected, I had to give kudos to the company. I’m limited to bending for several weeks following surgery and had to find a solution. This scooper completely fits the need, is easy to use and works on both hard surface and grass. Learning how to ‘load’ the bag is a short process and once accomplished, it is clean and not messy to remove. Great product!

The tool is lightweight and easy to carry I have two small dogs who provide me with ample opportunity to use this Pooper Scooper. The tool is lightweight and easy to carry, although I do not intend to take it when I walk the dogs (which was suggested on one site). The handle is an appropriate length. The two different scooper sides (one for grass and one for hard level surfaces such a concrete) are similar in size, and only a little different in shape. I still do not distinguish between the two without thinking about how they are used. I have watched videos demonstrating the proper techniques for scooping on grass or hard surfaces. The videos helped, but I still find that I have not mastered the required skills. Sometimes I can scoop successfully, but most of the time I still need to use some kind of pusher to persuade the "doggie diamonds" to get into the Pooper Scooper's bag. I love the idea that the Scooper uses a plastic bag! It took a few tries, but now I can securely fasten the plastic bags (with and without handles) onto the scooping surfaces of the tool. Removing the bag from the tool is easy and clean. My hands do not get soiled. I just tie a knot in the bag and toss it in the trash (with a silent apology to the garbage company personnel who short the rubbish). Using a plastic bag is a big advantage to this unit! Being from drought-ridden California, I also appreciate that I do not need to waste water and time trying to clean messes off the Pooper Scooper. The Scooper seems to work best for me on fairly dry "poopie puppies". I have trouble taking wet messes cleanly off grass blades, usually leaving a brown shadow to showcase my lack of skill. I have not returned The Pooper Scooper because I think that its advantages outweigh its disadvantages. Perhaps, with more practice, I will be able to use it well enough to consider giving it more stars. Even with my lack of skill, being able to cover the business end of the tool with the plastic bag is such a plus for me that I feel that the Pooper Scooper works better for me than the other tools of this nature that I have used in the past.

Does the job with a little patience Works good on solid services, although I did have to use the toe of my shoe to encourage the waste into the bag at times. Doesn't work well at all on longer grass, 2 1/2" to 3", wet grass or freshly laid down stool. I will continue to use it and who knows I may learn to incorporate some finesse with my poop scooping skills!

Works well for us We had a similar scooper years ago but it finally fell apart and we went looking for a replacement. This was the closest product we could find to our previous one. It has some cons, which I'll detail below, but also a major plus. It's lightweight, which is nice. We have big dogs, with correspondingly-sized poo left behind, so the lighter the better for us. On the other hand, it also means that it would probably be easy to damage, mainly the shaft, which is hollow, lightweight (metal? plastic?; not sure, actually). So don't leave it lying in the yard where it could be stepped on!What I really like about this device is the way the bags completely cover the head of it. This keeps it clean. One of the tasks I always hated was having to clean our previous device after use - and if you use it every time your dog goes, that's a lot of water to use every day from your hose. I've not had to rinse the the thing off since it was purchased (summer of '14). BUT, the caveat with this is that by putting the bag on properly, you lose approximately 50% of the potential holding volume of your bag. If you use the typically sized plastic grocery bags, you aren't able to put very much into it. It's not much of a problem for us, as we clean the yard frequently, but if you're in the habit of cleaning up after your dog only a couple times a week, make sure you have plenty of bags with you.As to technique, I've never attempted to just scoop it up with just this device. We have a small rake that we use to push the poo into the bag; it was one that came with our previous scooper and since it was still in good condition, we kept it for the new device. The opening can be a bit narrow, and usually I shake the stick to make sure the contents move down to the bottom of the bag. As I said, we have big dogs but this device does work well for us.It remains to be seen how long this will last. I hope a long time because, frankly, I don't see any other scooper out there for less than $25 - ridiculous since our last one cost only about $8 when we first bought it (but, admittedly, that was a long time ago). And I do like the fact that it stays clean - that was important for me.
