Does it work with wet stools?

Good Question. This is Alec, the inventor of the GoGo Stik tools. The very best answer is for you to see a short video on youtube. Here’s one, “FAQ – How do you Scoop up a soft mess in grass. Put your GoGo Stik to work – Day 2”. This is an actual short video I took in my yard. My retriever was not feeling too well for a number of days. The yard of course still needs to be cleaned up. Would this work well for a german shepard? if so, what size should i get?

Yes,it would work good with a German Shepherd I have a 90 pound lab. I have the standard green bags and come 100 in a box. I can get about 2 to 3 piles in one bag. Another good question would be, “will the scooper be used when walking your dog or just for yard cleanup?” If using the GoGo Stik scooper on walks, the ST is most likely the best choice. That’s what I would use and what most folks prefer. Why, because the ST has a collapse-able handle and allows for easier portability. It is very light and sturdy too. The XP is slightly larger with a single non-collapse-able handle. It is great for yard cleanups. I actually use GoGo Stiks daily with my large 100 lb golden retriever. I bought a bulk order of Arm & Hammer bags that measure 9x13 when flat. Will these fit?

Typically yes. But to answer this correctly, it would help to know whether these bags have handles or not. With a short bag, you’ll be able to cover the leading edge of the shovel that will be doing the scooping. You won’t totally cover the front of the shovel blade. That’s okay but remember that the bag is what keeps the tool totally clean. Make sure that you drape the bag around both side arms too. They help in keeping the bag onto the tool. If you have handles you might be able to stuff them into the bottom orange gripper. Experiment to see if the lower or upper gripper works best for you. If the bags have no handles, stuff the upper top of the bag closest to you into the top orange gripper. As far as plastic poop bags go, these Happy Dootie Bags with Handles meet all of my expectations. They fit into all of my standard dispensers. They are large enough to accommodate any size pile. They are odor free, dispense easily, tie securely closed, retain odor, and are pretty much puncture proof. For those prefer plastic over compostable, these would be a decent option.

With most poop bags, the first challenge is trying to find the tear spot and the second is trying to wind up a full bag of poop so you can tie it in a knot. These bags solve both problems. The tear spot is indented & easy to find and the handles make it sooo much easier to tie. The bags are narrower than I expected, about half the width of a common grocery bag, but they expand on the sides, so they are very roomy. My Aussie girl goes two times + during a walk so it’s nice to be able to add the additional bags to this one and carry them all in one bag. Very pleased with these bags and can definitely recommend them.

This box of Happy Dooties bags comes with x10 rolls of 12 bags in each roll. The bags are a fun purple color with a cute leag pattern & their logo on the bag each bag has handles that you can tie shut for easy pick up they are not scented but are good thickness made with cornstarch. The box includes a handly QR code that you can scan to easily re order. I not only use these for my dog but I also keep them in my diaper bag to put dirty diapers in while in public places to either toss in a public trash or for places your not allowed to toss soiled diapers to easily store the soiled diaper in my diaper bag till we are able to toss. There is no smell whatsoever from these bags and they do not rip easily. Highly impressed!!

They are doggy poop bags. It’s not very much to say about them. They are durable. They are purple. My dog is a 2 pound toy Shih Tzu so you can imagine the bag is a waste. She is too tiny to be outside on the grass so I just took paper towel cut it in fours and use that.

I needed new bags for walking my dogs as almost all brands come in bulk and I was finally running low on some standard bags. I chose these because the handles looked like a much better method for sealing bags while walking. They are easy to tie, but the bags are smaller than expected. I should have checked the dimensions, but assumed most bags were a standard size. They are fine for my small dogs, but not as great for my greyhound. The handles also attach to the bottom of the previous bag on the roll which makes tearing them a bit of a hassle to avoid ripping a hole in the bag you are about to use. Price is similar, if not slightly cheaper, than standard pet store brands. Unscented, but no foul smells make their way out, which is always great! Seem to be durable. I do not have the scooper recommended for use with this product, but have always wanted a scooper that could be kept clean with a cover like this and am glad the option exists for a future purchase. I don’t think these bags are biodegradable, but most biodegradable bags require a special composter anyway. I always hate purchasing plastic to throw away, but until there is a better pet waste solution that has assessable biodegradability then bags will have to do to keep public areas clean and biohazard free.
