These Bio-Blu Dootie Bags®, Premium Medium-Large, E-Z Tie Handle Poop Bags, are a good size and easy to dispense. They're fairly easy to open. We like that they're compostable, unscented, and hold plenty. We go through a lot every day, with three rescue pups and the occasional foster. We're glad to have this pack that fits in our large outdoor dispenser. Recommend!

These bags are larger than many poop bags I have tried and can easily handle the biggest of messes or multiple dogs. The bags are easy to open and the handles make it easy to tie. The bags are sturdy and strong. The bags work well in conjunction with pooper scoopers or can be used alone. Highly recommend.

These bags are larger than many and have a handle. The carton can be used as a dispenser. I like the color and the quality is good.

These poop bags are somewhat narrower than typical ones on a roll, but may be able to hold more because they are gusseted (I really didn't test this). They feel thinner, more slippery and harder to open than most. I do like being able to tie the handles, it's quicker than twisting and knotting a bag without them. I don't mind that they're in a box, since in winter I like to open a bag indoors and stick it in my pocket so I'm not trying to open a bag with gloves on. There is a little hole in the top of each bag, you can see it in the product images. I don't know if that's for the gogo stick, but I suppose you could hang them on a hook instead of keeping them in the box, don't know.

I'm reviewing GoGo Stik Bio-Blu Dootie Bags®, Premium Medium-Large, E-Z Tie Handle Poop Bags, Made with Superior Material, Strong, Leak Proof, 100 Count. Fits GoGo Stik ST Catch-N-Go And XP Pooper Scoopers These bags are generously sized. When fully opened up, they measure 12" across, so even a large cat scoop should fit. The material is thin, but strong. It's adequate to hold a day or two worth of cat litter clumps for our one large adult cat with plenty of room to spare. There was no leakage or tearing during use. The handles make them easy to tie up to contain the litter clumps. I appreciate that they're vegetable-based and biodegradable. I really like the teal blue color and the bag graphics are darling too. These bags are not on a roll, and the box has a perforated opening and the bags are folded so that I can easily pull out one at a time (see photo). See photo for package information. At the current price of $13.78, that comes out to $0.14 per bag which is a bit more than I usually spend, but considering the size and quality, I find it to be reasonable. As a side note, these GoGo Stik Bio-Blu Dootie Bags®, Premium Medium-Large, E-Z Tie Handle Poop Bags are made in China.

  1. I love bags with handles. In the winter time, when you have gloves on, it is so much easier to use a bag with handles. These bags are silky smooth, a very attractive shade of blue and make no crinkly sound. They are very nice and appear strong. Note that there is an easy access opening on the side of the box that dispenses the bags. I didn’t see it at first and it is easy to miss. Good product. Recommend.

  2. Easy peasy tie poop bags! These don’t rip without significant effort and are large capacity. Easy to grab on your way out the door on a dog walk or to sit right next to your kitty litter box. The handles are particularly nice if your dog usually goes close to a trash can, because I find it doesn’t always have a perfect seal if you have to walk with the bag for a while.

  3. These are pretty great as far as poop bags go. I did have a little trouble opening them initially until I realized separating the handle made it completely effortless. These are compostable bags, but they have a lot of flex and can stretch quite a bit before tearing when I tested it. I know a lot of people assume compostable bags lack strength, but these are more robust than some thinner plastic poop bags I’ve tried.

If you have a large dog, you’ll likely appreciate the size of this bag and its carry handle, especially if you plan to take these when you go on a walk. I use them for removing cat solids from my litter boxes, and they’re a bit too big for that, so I will use them when I need to do a changeover. For the cat people out there, I use a Breeze box, and these bags are the perfect size for doing a pee pad changeover. I have two litter boxes and can fit two soiled pee pads in this bag with plenty of room to spare and the bag’s handles made it easy to tie off.

Based on the size of this bag (2-gallons), they’d also be a perfect fit for most kitchen compost bins, so I think they’ll likely be doing double duty at my house!

I’ve used all kinds of bags, big and smaller ones without ties and bags with tie handles. I haven’t found any that didn’t work. I got this due to having back surgery and had a no bending restriction but I will continue to use this after as it is just so much neater.

Good Question. This is Alec, the inventor of the GoGo Stik tools. The very best answer is for you to see a short video on youtube. Here’s one, “FAQ – How do you Scoop up a soft mess in grass. Put your GoGo Stik to work – Day 2”. This is an actual short video I took in my yard. My retriever was not feeling too well for a number of days. The yard of course still needs to be cleaned up. Take a look and see what you think. You may be moderately surprised. Don’t forget, the scooper’s blade can be used as a scraper too. Hope this helps. Feel free to contact me.

Pretty much any kind of bag works so I don’t see why a biodegradable bag wouldn’t. My preference is for ones with handle ties but others work too.

Yes,it would work good with a German Shepherd I have a 90 pound lab. I have the standard green bags and come 100 in a box. I can get about 2 to 3 piles in one bag.

Great Question.
Another good question would be, “will the scooper be used when walking your dog or just for yard cleanup?” If using the GoGo Stik scooper on walks, the ST is most likely the best choice. That’s what I would use and what most folks prefer. Why, because the ST has a collapse-able handle and allows for easier portability. It is very light and sturdy too. The XP is slightly larger with a single non-collapse-able handle. It is great for yard cleanups. I actually use GoGo Stiks daily with my large 100 lb golden retriever.
Please contact me directly at any time if I can provide further clarification on this topic or any other regarding the GoGo Stik pooper scoopers.

Typically yes. But to answer this correctly, it would help to know whether these bags have handles or not.

With a short bag, you’ll be able to cover the leading edge of the shovel that will be doing the scooping. You won’t totally cover the front of the shovel blade. That’s okay but remember that the bag is what keeps the tool totally clean. Make sure that you drape the bag around both side arms too. They help in keeping the bag onto the tool.
If you have handles you might be able to stuff them into the bottom orange gripper. Experiment to see if the lower or upper gripper works best for you.
If the bags have no handles, stuff the upper top of the bag closest to you into the top orange gripper.

I have used all kinds of bags except the ones that the newspaper comes in. As long as they have a wide mouth opening, they should work.
By Rita Milam on October 18, 2017

Yes! You can even use plastic shopping bags!!!
By Gojira55 on October 17, 2017
this seems to work best with bags that have handles. if your bags do, then that size seems fine.
they probably will but may be snug. sorry but I’m bot sure.
