Absolutely love! Very durable and you can use any kind of bag! Quick to set up and easy to use! My Rottweiler doesn’t lower to the ground so I can catch his but my dalmatian poops almost on the ground so I scoop hers and it works great both ways. I’ll neve use anything else!

This invention is awesome. I just received it today and used it for the first time. I have some back problems and I'm pregnant now so it was difficult to pick up after my dogs. With this, though, it's super easy. I really like the fact that you can use any bag you want. All I literally did was put this under my dogs when they started going. It's so convenient. I highly recommend getting one of these.

I used to love The Strofers alternative to dispozascoop. They were well made and they found recycled or used cardboard to make the product. The biggest problem is that they stopped production often and you never knew when or if they'd come back. Well I'm down to the final numbers and wondered if there was something more environment friendly but still allowed me to "catch" the poop without coming in close proximity. Well, this seems like a reasonable alternative. I bought biodegradable poop bags that allegedly decompose in 3 months and used the gogo to catch it. Worked like a charm. I agreed with the other user who said ideally the rod should bend for easier catching but not a deal breaker. Had no problem using handle-less bags either. Great purchase at a fraction of the dispozascoop price and 3 year warranty.

Like u can use ur own bags. Like it can be used with the long stick or without. We needed it to use under our pup while he was going bc he had diarrhea but we have a small dog and it was too tall and wouldn't fit under him, so I cut one side and now it's perfect. I rather catch than scoop. I use it every time now, love this thing. They should have different sizes for different dogs and should consider cutting of one side, just my opinion.

Wonderful product. The bottom of the pooper scooper scrapes poop off the ground. On wet days there is very little residue, none to almost none once you get the hang of it. Dry days you can very easily scoop everything up. It comes with ten free bags that easily hold ten pounds. Once those are gone, you can use grocery sacks, they are about the same size. There are multiple ways to load the bag, so you can't do it wrong. I haven't mastered taking the bag off yet, but if you work at it, it will come off. If you are messy like me, once the bag is removed you can easily rinse the poop off the scooper. The handle extends to get you a little further from the poop. I am 5'11 and did have to bend over. I estimate that if you are 5'5 or shorter you will not have to bend. It is easiest to scoop using both hands.I tried it one-handed to take videos, and it was doable, but complicated. My computer is not fast enough to post both the videos, hopefully, the one that posts will be helpful. Once I put the phone in my pocket and employed my other hand it was much easier.

I’m not sure , wouldn’t see y not, I use those plastic shopping bags
By Raymond howard on July 15, 2019
I’ve used all kinds of bags, big and smaller ones without ties and bags with tie handles. I haven’t found any that didn’t work. I got this due to having back surgery and had a no bending restriction but I will continue to use this after as it is just so much neater.

Good Question. This is Alec, the inventor of the GoGo Stik tools. The very best answer is for you to see a short video on youtube. Here’s one, “FAQ – How do you Scoop up a soft mess in grass. Put your GoGo Stik to work – Day 2”. This is an actual short video I took in my yard. My retriever was not feeling too well for a number of days. The yard of course still needs to be cleaned up. Take a look and see what you think. You may be moderately surprised. Don’t forget, the scooper’s blade can be used as a scraper too. Hope this helps. Feel free to contact me.

Pretty much any kind of bag works so I don’t see why a biodegradable bag wouldn’t. My preference is for ones with handle ties but others work too.

Yes,it would work good with a German Shepherd I have a 90 pound lab. I have the standard green bags and come 100 in a box. I can get about 2 to 3 piles in one bag.

Great Question.
Another good question would be, “will the scooper be used when walking your dog or just for yard cleanup?” If using the GoGo Stik scooper on walks, the ST is most likely the best choice. That’s what I would use and what most folks prefer. Why, because the ST has a collapse-able handle and allows for easier portability. It is very light and sturdy too. The XP is slightly larger with a single non-collapse-able handle. It is great for yard cleanups. I actually use GoGo Stiks daily with my large 100 lb golden retriever.
Please contact me directly at any time if I can provide further clarification on this topic or any other regarding the GoGo Stik pooper scoopers.

Typically yes. But to answer this correctly, it would help to know whether these bags have handles or not.

With a short bag, you’ll be able to cover the leading edge of the shovel that will be doing the scooping. You won’t totally cover the front of the shovel blade. That’s okay but remember that the bag is what keeps the tool totally clean. Make sure that you drape the bag around both side arms too. They help in keeping the bag onto the tool.
If you have handles you might be able to stuff them into the bottom orange gripper. Experiment to see if the lower or upper gripper works best for you.
If the bags have no handles, stuff the upper top of the bag closest to you into the top orange gripper.

I have used all kinds of bags except the ones that the newspaper comes in. As long as they have a wide mouth opening, they should work.
By Rita Milam on October 18, 2017

Yes! You can even use plastic shopping bags!!!
By Gojira55 on October 17, 2017
this seems to work best with bags that have handles. if your bags do, then that size seems fine.
they probably will but may be snug. sorry but I’m bot sure.
